Tandridge District Christmas Draw
During December, Titsey Rotary Club again ran its annual Tandridge District Christmas Draw, raising over £6,000 which will be shared among the 20 local charities which took part. This was a record amount and every penny raised will go to the charities. Our thanks goes to Morrisons and Waitrose for allowing us to sell tickets outside their shops, and to the people of Oxted for their generosity.
Santa's Sleigh
A new project for Titsey Rotary Club was the "Santa Street Collection” in which Santa’s sleigh visited streets in Oxted and Hurst Green in the week before Christmas. Santa met local children, distributing sweets and Christmas wishes, while his Rotary elves carried out a street collection. This raised over £1000 and will go to support Rotary Charities.
