The Rotary Club of Titsey & District Membership

The Rotary Club of Titsey & District has a membership of around forty which is large enough to achieve the targets set, yet small enough to retain the friendly atmosphere we think essential for good fellowship - but we still need new members.

Why do we need new members?

Unfortunately, members leave for one reason or another - moving away from the district for instance - and new members not only fill the gaps but bring fresh blood with innovative ideas and matching enthusiasm. This is essential and prevents us from getting into a rut.

The Rotary Constitution requires clubs to be composed of active members who are adult persons of good character and good business and professional reputation. Consequently, members usually hold responsible positions, often being proprietors, partners or managers in recognised businesses or professions.

Rotary is a world wide organisation and members are encouraged to visit other clubs in this country and abroad.

If you think you meet the bill, live or work in the Oxted area and would like an introduction to Rotary, please contact the Titsey Secretary by E-mail and we will arrange for you to be made welcome at one of our meetings.
