The Rotary Club
of Titsey & District The next MoonRaker Challenge will take on Saturday 21st April 2012 in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, the Wheelchair Foundation, the 1st Hurst Greens Scouts and Rotary Charities. Over the past 8 years, over 1500 walkers have raised over £50,000 on our MoonRaker Challenge. This year the Rotary Club of Titsey and District, in association with 1st Hurst Green Scouts, is organising another moon-lit walk on Saturday 21st April 2012. Starting early evening, teams of between four and eight adults will follow directions on one of two routes of about six miles along footpaths, starting and finishing at The National Trust's Chartwell, home of Winston Churchill - a real challenge not only for their stamina but also navigation as the routes are quite rural. The first teams will set off around 5:30pm with others following at intervals, all the teams completing the course well after sunset. The date is chosen to coincide with a full moon. There are light refreshments along the way and all the walkers have to do is is raise some money in sponsorship for our charities. If you are interested in entering a team please click on Team Entry Form where you will also find contact details for walkers. We would really welcome commercial sponsors, and have put together an exciting choice of packages ranging from £50 to £500. If you would prefer to sponsor us in kind - say by providing equipment, refreshments or similar - we would love to hear from you. For details of sponsorship packages please click on Commercial Sponsorship. The Following companies have already offered sponsorship. Further
